Ojdana Radović

Ojdana Radović, born in Belgrade, Serbia is an entrepreneur, dancer, certified instructor, and a choreographer. Alongside being a tenure professor of physical education, she works as an „American Balanced Body Method“ certified Pilates instructor. Starting from an early age, she started dance training in Serbian folklore and expanded to Latino-American and Spanish Flamenco. The beginning of her formal training in traditional Spanish with the venerable Olge Valentić started in 2002. Thereafter, she had her first major production “Sin Fronteras” at Sava Center in May of 2003 with the internationally acclaimed Flamenco dancer, Antonija del Kastilja from Madrid which was received with immense success. Thereafter, she devoted her focus on Flamenco dance for the next 2 decades After working as a Flamenco instructor at “Vengo” School of Dance with Marija Milić, she eventually took over as the owner and principal professor 2006. Since then, she has been one of the main pioneers of spreading the popularity of Flamenco dance throughout Belgrade and throughout the country of Serbia with a consistently growing student base of not only aspiring future dancers but also attracting professional classical guitarists to help them expand their inner physical understanding of the music with their body, enhancing their musicianship. She continues expanding her experience and developing her style by traveling to several workshops such as in: Budapest with Maria Keck, Cordoba with Marian Dominguez, Seville with Francesca Grima, Madrid with Concha Jareno (Madrid), Pedro Fernandez Embrujo (Madrid), Yolanda Osuna (Cordoba), Alejandro Granados (Madrid) i Belen Lopez, as well as frequent improvisational sessions with Julie C. Gorosito in Argentina. Her own workshops that she has been leading in Belgrade include “Institute of Creative Dance”, “Academy of Music” in Belgrade, “The Flamenco School” in Split, in dance schools in Niš, Novi Sad, and Subotica. She is the founder of the Flamenco community “El Olor del Alma” in Belgrade where she is the principal instructor, choreographer, organizer which successfully and frequently holds performances throughout Belgrade and Serbia. Her studio, “Studio Ojdana” is fully equipped not only for dance but for various other forms of recreation and wellness.
